Frequently Asked Questions

What is Ultrasound Fat Cavitation?

Ultrasound Fat Cavitation is advertised as the latest revolution in fat removal technology that does NOT involve medical intervention or surgery. But what is it exactly?

The scientifically developed medical Ultrasonic RF technology is based on a medical breakthrough that uses biocavitational ultrasound waves and radio frequency energy, to selectively break down fat cells and cellulite without affecting neighboring organs and cells. Immediately after treatment, your body clear away the disrupted fat cells, mainly through the liver.

The procedure is comfortable and painless, has no side effects, and requires no anesthesia or sedation.

How does Ultrasonic Cavitation remove fat?

The vibration of positive and negative alternation of sound waves produces a strong pressure to fat cell membranes.

As the fat cell membrane cannot withstand this pressure, it will explode into the liquid content.  After disruption of adipose cells (fat cells), the broken fat in the form of triglycerides is released into the interstitial fluid between the cells, where they are enzymatically metabolized to glycerol and free fatty acids. Water soluble glycerol is absorbed by the circulatory system and used as the energy source, whereas the insoluble free fatty acids are transported to the liver and processed as fatty acids from food.

A quantity of fat cells are destroyed and therefore reduced, and the body’s fat cell metabolism is improved. Destroying these fat cells removes the body’s environment for fat storage.

After care for the next 3 days

  • No caffeine (tea, coffee or coke)

  • No alcohol (your liver is busy getting rid of all this extra fat)

  • Drink lots of water and eat fruits

  • No very fatty meal directly after (ie: fried food)

How many sessions will I need to see results?

Results are usually almost immediate with an average of 2-10 cm lost from the area after the first session. It is recommended to have 3 to 12 sessions for best results. Remember not all experience the same results. Since we are all different results may vary.
